Social Destortion

Social Destortion

We hide behind the blind and climb the ladder to success
Yet what are we to delliver in our historical perspective
There needs to be a call to get back to the basics of love
Through a heroic effort there is a pulse beat of the heart
There are voices that bring us choices to stay
Still our institution are filled with the tormentor's of the soul
A clear thin line that binds the human heart to grow
The wheel in the sky keeps turning yet why to we ever worry
It's sweet to hug your lady in waiting amidst any uncertainty
Can I get a touch of class through this vision of a mask
The sad eyes are often lonely at night perhaps in a lover's quarell
Social destruction through the outside riots in the street
They claim in the name of love but it's cheap lust after all
No one has a voice that says good from bad
It's sad all over when you once believed everything was totally rad
Let's look above to the heavenly love come take this chip off my shoulder
Stop the senseless fighting as are nation gets a bit colder
We are making a mockery of things with hearts bleeding from the sin
Close the casket of death then open it up to bring new life
Time will tell of the new exchange a chance to face the music
We toss and turn to get a good night's sleep
Once this life is over there's no second chance to repeat.
People hide beneath the false hidden garb of compromise can't you see
A heart fixed on evil minds that plug destruction will crumble at your feet
