Social Confusion

I often feel confused
I love my friends with all of my heart
But I want more
I want
sticky floors
blurred nights
that feeling of being content
                     being wanted
                     being admired
I sometimes forget what surrounds those desires
whispered lies
fake friendships
empty eyes

So now I'm stuck
In this place of appreciating what I have
And always wanting more.
