Soccer Mom
Soccer mom, soccer mom
Waving “I can do anything” magical wand
Looking for gold
Image ever so bold
Not wanting to fold
We are told
Putting the ball in the net
A winning score you may get
Soccer mom, soccer mom
How calm
Going end to end
And deciding it’s when
Meeting the right Ken
Success confirming you are a ten
Called upon for a mission to defend
You stand alongside the men
In a humanitarian message for all
Sent using a ball
Soccer mom, soccer mom
You have a lot going on
It is late in the day
I might say
Dinner time will come
Question raised, “are you done?”
Did they hear
Through all the loudness and cheer
Or does one have to shed a tear
Yes, we must do our best
Resulting in victory over the rest
But when things conclude
And results are true
For those wearing red, white, and blue
Take two steps back
Turn the athletic attack
Over an out to another
Wanting to know how to be a wonderful mother
Since it can be said
After the special day when two are wed
Celebrating not mourning the dead
Peace was your path
In dealing with wrath
Playing kick, the can
Turning on the fan
Cooling the flame
Competing in a game
Soccer mom, soccer mom
Thank you for your service diffusing the angry military bomb
