Brian Strand Poet Rhyme

SOCCER it ain't IMO

playing out from the back
a slow sideways
                            - defensive form of attack
with such a premium on possession 
                                                      -back&across
soccer with such goals   
                                              -loses its gloss
for fear of defeat 
                               -  brings negativity
boredom & much wasted opportunity
