Soccer

I envision your face
The way you kick
Who’s on your team
Whom will you pick?

Were you the leader
Of the pack
Like I was as a child
With a D+ in nap?

And not to forget
The number you wore
The most important
In times when you score!

As an adult
You scored with me
The black nine front and center on your jersey!
