Soaring Kites

Do you remember those sunny days When we flew our little kites You busy on your terrace And me soaring on another! We drifted with each other’s names And all those dazzling colours I think back to those days So small we were but our dreams were flying so high, love entangled Praying that every dream that I could Never reach found you instead If paper kites could speak today It was you and me following the other Strolling in those vast blue skies The wind holding us up forever And when we reeled those kites in It felt like we were reeling in our hearts together! 16.9.2021 Contest: A Lovely Memory Sponsor: Regina Mclntosh
