Soaring By the Sea

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

What power the ocean has o’er me;
I see it, and I long to be
within its sight - forever free.
My spirit soars when by the sea!

I linger in the frothy waves…
my heart is light, my body craves
the sand to run, warm sun to bathe;
I regain strength - a new road paved.

I take the path that leads from here -
my heart fulfilled; my mind is clear.
I thank Him for all He has done
as nature brings me strength to run!
