Soaking In the Love

She flopped herself off of her bike Landing on soft sweet grass The daisies giggled with relief That she had not landed on them I love the trees, I love the clouds, I love you God, she said to the sky. She was full of pure happiness. The first spring day that had not rained. Her mother called her, but her eyes were closed. She was soaking in the love, Satisfied that there had been a prettier day Nor would there ever be one.
