So Young, So Content
Having been adopted at six weeks
living in the countryside with parents anew
these early years pre-school were good
but went past so quickly time just flew
Though realising I've stammer afoot
but having no company so I'd cope
this suited me having me for company
all of this was bringing me hope
One thing I felt clearly at this time
as a child I had real contentment
this was so peaceful deep at heart
these days would be where I start
Having my own bedroom was cool
sitting there loving my toys
as an only child life was good
there on my own cause no noise
As I think back on these early days
sometimes wish that peace could return
but life changes moving on age to age
just as our weather moves rain to sun
(My favourite time in my life was probably was pre-school between one to five, this is my thoughts about that time.)
