So Why

So many tears I've shed for you
And yet you never cared
So why?
Why do I still want you?
All you did was treat me like a fad
In your world of lies
So why?
Why do I find myself sitting by the phone?
It seems I'm waiting for you to call
Wanting your toxicant all for me
So why?
Why do I want you to hurt me?
Somehow you're like a drug
I'm so addicted
I can't stop wanting to hear your voice
So why?
Why do I pretend?
