So What Did You Do Today

If the answer is to the question

So what did you do today

Is

I stole sweets off kid's

Pulled the wing's off butterflies

Kicked a walking stick away
from under a pensioner

& best of all

Tried to sabotage a poetry contest

Trolled and wrote some spiteful
hurtful comments online

Is it any wonder or surprise then

That you haven't actually got any
real friend's

And maybe the reason why you
do what you do and try make
enemies out of other's

Because if they didn't reply
to your taunts

You might just then turn your pen
back upon yourself

Only to find those who would
have tried help you burnt

No longer care enough anymore
to try and pick you up

Because you see a butterfly
can not fly without wing's

And so to there is only so much
flax those only trying to help
can put up with

Before they eventually give up
as well

Admitting defeat and thinking
what's the point anyway

If all i am trying to do is good
is causing me more heartache
and harm

No contest enjoy your win

With only your dark webb
weaved coat for heat and
company

Whilst you troll from your
rusty old tin roof hoping
it won't cave in

Under the weight of spite and
hate you spew

Wishing to indoctrinate and
hope other's will follow or
fall

And find there inner troll

Brilliant Christopher, this poem flows so well, seamlessly in fact, unlike the morons that cannot put a sentence together, so compensate for their shortcomings by spoiling the nicer things in life, like a harmless butterfly, or poetry contest, cheers David
