So Weak, Yet So Strong

Another mark to tally up the score
Making it an even twelve
She lies awake at night
Thinking about what made the marks
Thinking about how her life has changed
Is it all her fault?
The things that happened
The things that left her where she is today
Is it a punishment for the way she is?
So different from the world around her
Yet so much the same as them all
Trying to find her place
While she struggles with her sadness
Her inner thoughts that tell her she is no good
The ones that push her further into the pain she suffers
Into the bad habit that only feeds its self with each passing day
The one that makes her hide
Afraid of what the world would say
What every one would say
"Psycho,
Freak,
Emo,"
None of them understand the pain she has seen and
The things she has lost
The tears that have fallen and
The weakness that is her
So weak yet so strong
To carry on in a world where every thing seems to be against her
Against her dreams and
Against the real person inside the girl who sits alone
