So This Is How It Is

So this is how it is for me no longer young and yet not too old I lived a life married more than once Mother to 3 boys and 1 girl grandma to 1 worked most of my life struggled with my own self identity don't have much to show for all these years, living but not living I know to much to pretend life is going to be good I'm looking at a life of lonliness I'm looking at a life that might not be so good yet i appreciate the little things yes i do it don't take much to make me smile humility is at my doorstep at last i'm not too old to appreciate what i have to work with appreciate that i need to give a little more appreciate that life ain't fair and i'm not that special so thats how it is for me
