So There I Was

So there I was, right next to you
Thoughts ran through my mind
Wondering could it be true
Did I just really find
The perfect fitting blue jeans?
The perfect winter glove?
The perfect chair to sit on?
The one, my perfect love?

I know they might sound silly
These comparisons and such
But I only bring them up because
Those things I like so much
So please don't be offended
Read into what I say
I'm telling you we're blended
We fit in every way
