So Thankful

I am so very thankful for life and health
which means so much more than great wealth
I've had trying times I must admit
but I thank God for bringing me through it

I am so very thankful for family and friends
and for the love and laughter that never ends
for a shoulder to lay my head or a listening ear
and that voice that leaves me without any fear

I am so thankful for the joy that I have in my heart
that only God can give and no one can ever tear apart
for His grace and mercy shown unto me
and for that I shall be forever indebted to thee

I am so grateful, and grateful I shall forever be
because I know that Jesus died for me.
