So Spake Simple Simon
Lasting joy, as in bliss that’s eternal,
is a quest upon which all souls embark,
found only in staid silence internal
and this dear friends, is the honest truth stark.
Desire pursuit in the world external
plunges us in dungeons of despair dark,
so unless we choose to slow down thought flow,
tossed like a leaf in the wind, we’ll feel low.
