So Miniscule, So Powerful

I think I may cough up a lung.
I ache from head to toe.
I’m blazing hot, then freezing cold.
Eyes smart and nostrils flow.

A microscopic virus birthed
this beast that’s claimed my week,
demanded that I stay in bed,
and made my outlook bleak.

Succinct, to the point and has great rhyme - what I believe Nina is looking for. I got way too wordy in mine (pretty sure) but I've got a house full of company and no real thinking time! I really enjoyed your entry and definitely know the virus feeling you creatively described. All the best ... CayCay
