So Mendacious

Why do we lie, why do we deceive,
The answers we will never retrieve.
Lie after lie somebody please tell me what for,
You get so lost into it when you're not telling the truth you're
not even sure.
Tired of convincing them that you're true,
No matter what you say, no matter what you do,
you still don't have them believing you.
Good at what you do, how you do, when you're doing it, can't keep up
with your own work you've created.
So don't live off of so many lies,
maybe you should have your life rejuvenated.
Back to the original state of mind,
Where you become somewhat of mankind.
The part of life where you live with the real state of things,
The truth that's what that means.
It wouldn't hurt nobody but yourself,
Because then you'll be putting all the lies on the shelf.
But if that's to much to ask,
You can always go back.....
Go back to the life you're use to living,
With all the lies you're use to giving.
