So Many Roses I Saw Today
So many roses I saw today
On the same bed they all lay.
With roses I will dream tonight,
Pink, red, yellow and white…
If a single rose I free and smell
The garden will frenzy and yell,
I aspire to be like a bumblebee:
Invisible wings to nestle and flee.
The breeze carried a whiff adrift
Dancing within the edifices rift
On my chest I pinned four medals
Pink, red, yellow and white petals:
A single rose can guild me to Eden
Or linger on Nature’s bosom hidden
