So Many Friends

I'm thankful daily for the many friends

I have here on the soup

Without you guys, my life would be missing

Our much anticipated daily interaction

It provides me with so much joy and happiness

Your loving words inspire me

To write poetry that I didn't know I was capable of

Since joining this wonderfully creative site

I owe everyone a real debt of gratitude

For providing me with an outlet

To express my innermost feelings

And for the loving and caring comments

That you send my way in return every day

Poetry Soup is what keeps me alive and kicking

A reason to get out of bed every morning

To greet each day with a great big smile

After reading your Poem 'From out of The Mist', you really inspired me... and Dragon, of course, to write a poem called 'Out of the mist.- Looting near us was done by inner City oportunist thugs. They are tweeting what area they're going to rob next. Our police are doing a great job. They robbed stores and houses a few blocks away from us last night.
