Gershon, this poem has a jazzy sing-songy-way about it. The cadence had me smiling, and I am really liking it a bunch. I am throwing it on my FAV list so I can read it a bunch more times.

Thanks, Caren. I am honored to be on your FAV list.... Good choice! (Ugh! I couldn't resist that one, I guess). :)

oh that is funny. for at least half of those, I was thinking the last line choices were actually the better of the options!! Which I guess would mean that I would make a good socialist. hahaha. Good one, my friend. (the only one I hated was plain tap water!)

Oh, well, that can be fixed. You can choose between chocolate, bubble-gum, and cherry-flavored tap-water, all of it free! (Of course, it's actually paid for by your steadily rising taxes. Ha, ha). Thank for the support, Andrea! ~ gw

Our choices make us (in part) what we are, last line rings so true, well expressed!

Many of us choose the easiest way, Gershon, but admire those who strive for a higher level. I like the way you developed your theme with examples to which people can relate. I think it's much the same as playing video games where you slay dragons, rather than actually going out to conquer a real foe. Well expressed! Hope you had a great Christmas, Carolyn

You got it, Carolyn. With the easy way, you always pay the price in the long run. ~ gw
