So Long My Lover

What a gleeful pain to say you goodbye
here on my rocking chair
but I had once loved this love lie
Oh! the pain is so unfair

I shared in your illusionary dreams
and invested in it, my time
gave up every of my happiness and dreams
Yes, I felt it is no crime

I forgot even my home
'Cos I found a better one in your strong arms
but you were all a lie who took to a trustable form
Now my heart weighs more than a yam

The love fire died in this pretty eyes
So long my lover. Hatred is hardened every muscle in my heart

Beautifully sad! Loved it even with my own hardened heart
