So Long My Faithful Prissy

Prissy, you came to us and brightened my day
A litter of kittens was all it took
You became our inside cat
Shy and quiet, most of the time
You were hard to love
Life was hard on you, so I could forgive your little ways
You were a friend in need, a friend indeed

You even forgave me when I almost killed you by mistake
The grey fur balls seemed to multiply, by the minute
You were a good foot warmer
We parted ways, one night
Your true love, came and swept you away to a castle
May you live happily ever after!!

This is delightful, Doris! So sorry you had to lose your little "foot warmer" (what an endearing way to describe Prissy). Our cats touch our hearts so deeply that we never forget even one of our special pets. Much love, Carolyn
