So Long As You Know

I may never get to know
What lovin’ you is like
I may never get to show you
How lovin’ feels done right

But I know if all, I can do
Is pass on these few words...
Then I’m guessing all my blessings...
Were known in this world

So long as you know I loved you
I can go on to my grave
So long as you know I want you
There’s not much more to say

I’d rather never known, the feeling
Or the taste of your lips
So long as you know, you’ve held my soul
And truly brought me bliss

So long as you know I loved you
I can go on to my grave
So long as you know I wanted you
There’s not much more to say

I’d truly lay down, my life if I
Could look into your eyes
And know you don’t doubt anything
When I say you were my paradise

So long as you know I loved you
I can go on to my grave
So long as you know I want you
There’s nothing more to say

I’ll wait for you, when your time is through
I be right at Heavens gate
So long as you know I loved you
I can go on to my grave

So long as you know I loved you so
I can go on to my grave
