So Long

I still hear you sing Sweet memories it brings Your kind eyes filled with love Sweet tales you loved to tell To speak and make me smile Night time jokes Oh! I used to laugh so hard And watch you laugh as the tears travelled down your cheeks How time flies! I just wrote you a poem…last year… …Last year…Come on! I used to wish you were here I used to pray to have you back Many wishes to hear you speak My eyes…they leak My throat hurts a bit These are all feelings They don’t last forever But the memories will never depart Forever they will remain in my heart Little precious stones memories are Now we are apart You journeyed home to meet The King Your favorite songs I still sing I no longer wish you were here I’m happy you are there I don’t see you now It hurts so bad…I know! But soon I’ll see you again Say hello to all our loved ones in heaven Greet The King and stay happy It’s been eleven years Oh…these tears! So long Mama Till we meet again So long!
