So Goes the Clock
Be mindful of how you use it.
Make sure you never confuse it.
Watch the company you keep.
Be careful with whom and where you sleep.
It's more precious than gold.
You can't buy it, but it can be sold.
So be cautious, because you can lose it.
And once it's gone, you can't choose it.
Like a current flowing over a glassy rock,
It never passes twice; the current continues nonstop.
Tick tock,
Tick tock,
So goes the clock.
The hands are steadily moving.
So, are you losing or improving?
It's precious, so never squander it.
Use it wisely and cherish it.
Some say it's not real.
But in this realm, it’s easy to feel.
Tick tock,
Tick tock,
And so goes the clock.
