So Far Away
Yesterday seemed so clear
For all the things you held dear
Life was safe and you slept well
On other things you did not dwell
Now there is so much to read
Of things that happen in the media feed
For influencers now tell the world
Of what to think and ideas upheld
Fake news now floods social frames
When slogans blacken innocent names
To want for better days I agree
But truth and equity we should see.
