So Determined

Tonight I'm so determined
  to turn the page tomorrow
To take a couple steps forward
  to end self-pity and sorrow

Yet when the morrow comes
  dawns still another excuse
Last night's resolve now melted
  palms-up shrugging
                    ~ 'What's the use?'
