So Beautifully Different
Since the first time that I saw you I have loved your unique face
As I and many others, saw you land from outer space
That waddling walk from side to side
My love for you I could not hide
Those large expressive deep blue eyes
They stole my heart, oh what a surprise
Your elongated middle finger lighting up the room
Your frightened face as the human race captured you too soon
Scared and shrieking loudly, kids covered up their face
Adults were no better, such a disgrace this human race
I adored you from the onset as you melted my dear heart
My favourite extra-terrestrial held a special place right from the start
Each and every time you soar way up into the skies
The floodgates open pouring tears of sadness from my eyes
To me my dearest ET, so endearing you will always be
So beautifully different, come back soon and take me home ET
