Snowy Town
SNOWY TOWN
Like a photo silent, still,
In black and white, old and curled,
Town is harmless, cold, surreal
Momentary peace in a hostile world.
The sound of bird and bard are stilled
In the street so long, pristine,
Every moving foot is chilled
And absent from the snowy scene.
