As time pours over me Laughing stars meet my stare My morning existence Worthless in your absence When eyes open sunken A bruised halo Circles their movements Every direction searched thoroughly You are not there I am not here

The second line really got my attention. To think of the stars as laughing at your stare in the absence of love was very powerful. The last two lines were very strong. Excellent poem.
