Snowy Owl, your feathers so white I have always wanted to see you I hear other kinds, hooting in the night A pleasure it would be to see you too I suppose one snowy winter You will fly so quietly here to visit me After the summer flowers wither You will arrive with splendid beauty Heidi Sands 7/13/17

Owls are such majestic birds. I have a few owls who visit, no snow owls though, but these two are so beautiful to watch. I love hearing them "Hoo" to each other across the trees. Your poem is wonderful Heidi, you always know how to bring nature to the screen.

Yes, they are . I have experienced a chorus of them hooting in the trees here (many at once). It is unbelievable! Thank you so much, my friend :)
