Snowy Christmas Delight

Crystalline flakes of the snow drifted down,
Created blankets of whiteness that gleam,
Hastily covered old time-weathered earth…
Beautiful vision, so peaceful and clean.
Treetops all glisten with glow from the light
Of lampposts and moonbeams spread over town…
Snow mounds of fluff adorn bushes and plants…
Hillsides flow down like a white satin gown.
Lights draped around windows twinkle like stars
While indoors reflect the bejeweled trees,
Green wreaths and red bows adorn every door…
The splendor of Christmas…a soft, gentle breeze
That whispers it’s magic of love and peace
And goodwill to those who honor this night
Of a blessed Christmas, aglow with joy…
In the wonder of winter’s snowy delight.
