Beneath the flakes, a sense of peace Wraps around my spirit, a wreathe Despite the grief – encouraging, uplifting Stirring me to breathe… The wonder of Christmas The miracle of Jesus’ birth The beauty of a season When God came to earth Inside the snow globe, where I find peace There is a joy, a glory sent to ease All the shadows, the feelings that grieve This is the moment when I fall to my knees… Praying and praising The One who brings grace For every heart’s burdens Grace that will soon erase… Each of the shadows, each of the doubts Leaving a music that whispers light Over the spirit, through the stars who abide To whisper in heaven, making everything right The wonder of Christmas The miracle of Jesus’ birth The beauty of a season When God came to earth
