Snowflakes
Snowflakes, swirling tufts of downy fluff,
tumble ever so gently from the heavens.
Whereas Winter's breath blows
alabaster crystals of virgin white,
as they fall like confetti from sullied skies.
Dancing in tune with each breeze,
flakes perform perfect pirouettes;
in a Winter Wonderland ballet.
Complete with splendid
gowns of crystalline lace.
