Snowflake
I imagined being a snowflake,
different than all the others
So small, but no more important than anyone
Falling, falling, slowly in the air
with a relief in knowing there's no reason to compare
I have my own beauty, no more special than another
Just equal, with all the other beautiful snowflakes,
coming from the sky above
Together, we land in the comfort of blanketing the ground
Together, we present a stunning winter landscape
Sparkling in the sun brighter than anything to be seen
We are the warmth of light on a cold day
Together we are different but the same, we are one
