Snowfall

Snowfall

As the snowflakes slid down in air,
the winter resumes its perfect flair,
Our warm breaths smoke,
the frozen engines choke,

Shiver smiles in conditioned rooms,
stars wink to the hearts in gloom,
White cover gives a tight embrace
shining to bright sun's morning grace,

Snow capped mountains and trees enthral,
As passion heats up the mystic snowfall.

Nice poem, Dr. Upma. And you sent me flying to the dictionary to learn an alternate spelling for the word enthrall. Thanks

"Our warm breaths smoke, the frozen engines choke," I can relate to these lines so well. Vehicles hate the cold and you never know when you will get stuck in the cold. It is always a marvel to watch someones breath in the cold air, and often movie producers forget that they can fake snow but when you don't see the actors breath it reminds you they are just on a movie set. That kind of ruins it for me. I loved your unique poem Dr. Sharma! Congratulations on your win!
