The treetops tremble as brisk breezes blow
bare branches; tap, tap, tapping, to their beat.
Soon Spring starts showing signs Winter will go
slip-sliding away; accepting defeat.
She slowly melts ice into soggy snow,
and Her subtle scent smells so sugar-sweet
She summons snowdrops and tulips to grow.
