Snow Tranquility

Flakes large and small float about on a breeze
Like angels floating from heaven above.
Ground goes from brown to white
as the birds hide in the tree.
Trees all in white haze
As snow floats from above.
Crackling of the fire
As I read Shakespeare
To soothe the poet within me.
Days to be lazy
as it falls from above.
