Snow Globe Memories - Mystic

Snow Globe Memories – Mystic 12-2-25 To Stephanie

Snow Globe Memories

Bright December sunbeam
Dances through my frosted window
Peeks into a clear orb,
A winter wonderland,
Sitting on my desk.

Snowstorms on demand
No weather report needed or necessary
A best friend gift
Peers back at me with memories
Living within it’s globe.

Two snowflakes,
Each unique as winter’s signature,
Rise up from a perpetual snowstorm
Ever young like our childhood
Of sleds and skates and skis
And catching snowflakes on our tongues.

A winter universe unto itself
That even the scorching summer sun
More birthday parties
And chaotic life storms
Cannot penetrate.

This world of fantasy
And friendship thrives
Without seasons
Even when shaken.

Dearest Sara, thank you for sharing in the joy of this childhood treasure as a metaphor for my childhood world and best friend. Funny how this globe is a guardian for that world and those memories! Hugs and blessings!
