Snow Cat

Black white
You freeze
You blend
Bare branches
Dark, light
Snow,stones
I wait
Eyes glow
Breath puffs
Earth blends
One form
Tricks eye
Frost, ice
sticks bend
Earth moves
You turn
Freeze framed
Eyes strain
Breath puffs
rise first
You lurch
branch bows
stones, snow
Still life

There is a documentary (of some years ago) that captures the elusive snow leopard.Thank you for stopping by read by turtle poem. I write many animal and insect poems in which I give these creatures a human personality.
