Snow and Flame

Gently, softly, slowly, sweetly
Sleeping snow and new flame meet
Melting, freezing, slipping, flowing
Falling snow and burning ember meet

Sleeping snow and new flame meet
Within the embrace of winter sun
Falling snow and burning ember meet
Ice and slush and spark and smoke

Within the embrace of winter sun
