Silently it falls throughout the night Nestling in the nooks of wishful mind Only option to a sense of sight Wond’ring how it looks were she not blind. ----------------------------------------------- 24th October, 2015 Contest: Wind, Snow or Rain Acrostrain Sponsor: Jan Allison Placed 2nd

A deep thought to think about, Paul. Your imagery tugs at the heart as we ponder things we take for granted. All the best for the contest. Sandra

You are right, Sandra; we take too many things for granted. We also often tend to forget how lucky we are to have certain things that others don't. ~ All the best. // paul

I am mesmerized by her wonderings of what the snow must look like... I loved everything about this poem, Paul. The imagery, the form and my reaction when reading that final line... Making this a favorite! Good luck in Jan's contest!

As you know, Olive_eloi, my preference is for short poems; a slight twist adds to the desired effect; very often it just pops up on impulse! Thank you for your unwavering support:) Hugs // paul
