Snow

White and clean when freshly
Fallen a coloroxed epiphany
Of the darkness that is below
Yet joyous and beautiful
To so many young and old
Frigid and unforgiving in
A single triumphant blast
Destroying the silence
With weighted tree branches
And the crackling of boughs
Broken and Twisted
