Snookered

As a people we Americans are so naïve.
We've been snookered by a con man
who has blatantly deceived..
Each new day our freedoms and institutions
are under attack as Musk and his D.O.G.E.
crew hammer and whack.
Many of our elected representatives too
fearful to even push back..
The Declaration of Independence states
"In God we trust".
We are a government by and for the people,
not Donald Trump, nor Elon Musk..
With out the rule of law the power grabbers
will keep on seizing.
Donald Trump and Elon Musk are comitting treason..

Hi Maureen, Thanks for your visit and yes it is extremely scary. I actually get physically ill if I follow the news too often, as each day brings another horror story.

It's disgustingly unbelievable that our democracy is being overrun by what you call, "power-grabbers." How they continue to be allowed such power is even more appalling. What happens when those two continue the tug of war for the kingship? I agree with your thoughts, Nancy. You might find the collaboration some of us took part in a couple of days ago to your liking.

It's going to be a bumpy few years Nancy, can't believe some of the things I'm hearing. Hope you're doing ok. Tom

Hi Tom, Yes, a very rocky road we are navigating. I see you are traveling again. Hope all is well with you and yours. Nancy
