Snippets of Emotions

A mother’s hand holding a child
Walk of joy beaming a smile

Kids frolicking on playground
Happiness of innocent sounds

Quarrel of two loving hearts
Thunderous clouds soon pass

A glimpse, if not ephemeral,
Perhaps a rude, unwelcome stare

Reality haunting endlessly
A blemish on hope eternal 

Face of grief when tears cease
Pain lingering in perpetuity

Pink sunrise gleaming eyes
Kiss of dawn blushing the skies

A cringe voicing displeasure
Truth’s way of bemoaning a liar

Love: Face of grief when tears cease/ Pain lingering in perpetuity/ That rings so true watching my dad count down the months since mom’s been gone. I can’t think too hard about it because it hurts too much. So I go on with life and smile and find joy and kniw one day I will see mom again. <3

There is something about the sky that just leaves me in complete awe. Daylight or dark, nature has a way of touching the heart. Your words hold many emotions indeed.
