Snapshot
This river has fallen since the beginning of time
Giving life to the Fern, the Laurel and the Pine
The rocks and the rapids share a fast dance
Over Rainbow Trout twirled in Spring's romance
The river bellows it's mighty roar
Calling high above where majestic eagles soar
Spring thaw brings life renewed
And the mist covers all with glistening dew
Bullfrog, cricket and loon join this great jamboree
A snapshot from God for all to see
