Snapping

they gather grounded in prayers like leaves beneath trees i stand hollow naked numb in this air awaiting winded gusts in disgusted sighs to snap me as i tumble down around them from life

I haven't decided whether these verses are simply over my head, too exalted for me. Or whether they are too profound for me to plumb their depths. Only of this am I sure: This poem is 'in this world, but NOT OF this world' -- which makes it 'out of this world!!' Bravo, Poet. Smiles, Gershon

I'm going to shorten your title on this one and use it to say, Come on Sandy, SNAP out of it. To hell with this stinking disease, show it you're no chicken and tell it to go pluck itself. Put that smile back on your face. You know you can handle this, you are strong, your are talented and you are amazing. Sure, writing it out helps some but only temporarily. Fight this monster Sandy, P.S. Your poem touches me deeply and it is so well written like everything that flows from your pen. Beautiful
