Spare a thought for innocent animals

How not to steal from a mamba That came to your house To check on your children How a little snake mamba Comes in like robin hood Asking children Have you eaten anything good we can share With a simple prayer Bismillah hir-Rahman nir-Rahim And maybe a little portion of food Left for him everyday Even in your thoughts And blessings from God The little mamba moves away Singing dancing I've enchanted them all To give a little to time and thought To animals on this earth Living and struggling for food.

I have no fondness for snakes, only fear, but this poem is so well done and ripe in beauty coated wisdom that I read it twice. I love the flow, structure and theme all so poetically and compellingly delivered ... CayCay

Thank you so much ,CayCay. Everyone should care for animals because they are so helpless. Even they have a God given right in this world. So thank you again for such lovely words. Tahira:)
