Smoky Dreams ‘Neath Rainbow Rings Oh, you are so cool, opaquely bright, clear prism shattering true light And you red glowing sweat condensed containment flaming tears Draw near to me let me consume your crystallized angelic plume I dare not lest I extinguish the molten core of lava’s anguish You fall into a silent night You rise upon a roaring light our lives but aimless wanderings smoky dreams ‘neath rainbow rings ©12/30/2017 submitted to STUNNED - Poetry Contest
